How it works

Step 1: Choose where and what
We help you pick between a free zone and the mainland, and the emirate or zone that suits your activity, visa needs and budget.
Step 2: Name and documents
You give us your preferred company names and passport copies for each shareholder and manager. Our UAE partner reserves the name and prepares the application.
Step 3: Licence issued
The free zone authority or the emirate's economic department issues your trade licence and company documents, and we send them to you.
Step 4: Visas, banking and tax
Once the licence is issued we can carry straight on with residence visas, bank account guidance and corporate tax registration.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a free zone and a mainland company?

A free zone company is licensed by that zone's own authority and operates under its rules. A mainland company is licensed by the emirate's economic department and can trade directly across the UAE market. Which suits you depends on who your customers are, your activity and the visas you need.

Do I need to travel to the UAE to form the company?

It depends on the jurisdiction — many free zones can issue a licence without a visit. Residence visas and most bank account openings do need you there in person at some stage.

How much does it cost?

Costs vary by free zone or emirate, by activity and by the number of visas, and authorities change their fees regularly. We quote for your specific setup rather than publish a single price.

I live in the UK. Does a UAE company change my UK tax position?

Not automatically. A company run from the UK can still be UK tax resident, and UK-resident owners remain taxable in the UK. Take UK tax advice before you rely on a UAE structure.
